Simply Creative All Wrapped up papers for festive crafting

The wait is almost over

Krafty Christmas pudding cardIt’s my favourite time of the year! Christmas has landed in my craft room yet there is none of the stress and panic that comes in December when I pile unnecessary pressure on myself to create the most magical Christmas that has ever been experienced!

No; it’s all the best bits of Christmas and none of the pain!

Having said that I did make over 50 craft projects in three days for the first of the Create and Craft Christmas launch shows this weekend so it hasn’t all been stress-free! I’m not complaining of course, I’ve been in my element!

The first of the Christmas launches – this Sunday – will be the Simply Creative range….amazing papers, stunning embellishments and glitter stickers!!!!!!

There are six different designs in the Simply Creative Christmas papers and each one comes in a 12×12 (200gsm) and 6×6 (120gsm) size. All 12 pads – equating to 300 sheets of paper – will be available in one incredible bundle on Sunday and Monday so you will have loads of choice for your festive makes.

The 200gsm larger paper pads are perfect for making off the page papercrafts such as gift boxes and gift bags. They are also sturdy enough to form a card blank and being 12 inches square, they’re ideal for scrapbooking. Five of the designs are also double sided. The 120gsm smaller papers are perfect for folds and matting and layering on your cards. Each pad is designed coherently so you can pick any of the papers to use together and you know they’re going to coordinate.

The first paper pad is All Wrapped Up, a selection of 15 monochrome  designs. Aren’t those ‘Do not open’ tags the cutest? You’re also getting a sneak peek here of the fabulous Dovecraft Chimney die which will be launching on 25 August.

Next up is Festive Chic. Wonderful purple and lilac hues coupled with silvery greys for a modern twist. I made a cupcake box to go with my handmade cards in this collection.

Krafty Christmas is a stunning paper pad with a Nordic / Scandi feel and colour palette. Every design is based on a kraft background so the red, green and white patterns really pop. I made some paper bauble decorations which were so easy, I will definitely be making more.

If you’re looking for something fun and cute for your Christmas crafting then this next pad will be perfect. It’s filled with Santas, reindeer, toy trains, penguins and gingerbread men as well as gorgeous selection of bright and bold backing papers. You’re getting another sneak peek here too; the house die is from the new Dovecraft collection. I also used some of the glitter stickers here for the sentiments and the stamps on my letter to Santa. They’ll be on the show too.

Hope & Joy is a more traditional Christmas paper pad with classic deep reds and rich greens. It’s packed with holly, poinsettias, Christmas bells and much more, perfect for all festive paper crafts.

The final pad in the paper collection is Let it Snow, a wintry collection of icy blues and greys for stylish Christmas crafting. Again, I used glitter stickers, this time for the snowmen on my pinwheels and the card sentiment, but Oh My! Look at those die cuts on the bunting (all available in the Dovecraft dies bundle on 25 August). And yes, the chimney is upside down! Oops!

Here are a few more projects using the amazing glitter stickers. There will be 16 packs on the show featuring the cutest characters, festive sentiments and iconic Christmas imagery, from mince pies to Christingles, carrots for Rudolph and cookies for Santa, mugs of hot chocolate, penguins, snowmen and reindeer, wreaths, holly and poinsettia, stars, stamps and snowflakes and so much more.

Here’s a taster but make sure you tune in to see the full kit. Show times are Sunday 20 August at 3pm and 8pm and Monday 21 August at 6pm. You can watch on Sky 674, Freeview 23, Virgin 748, Freesat 813, Apple TV and  Amazon Fire and also at www.createandcraft.com/gb/TVSchedule or www.createandcraft.com/us/program-guide.

What gorgeous papers. I think that Festive Chic one is my favourite, but I love the Kraft one and the Jolly Christmas too. The chimney die looks really fun. I’ll be working Sunday and Monday so can’t watch 😤

Just a little jealous that you have a reason to go all out with Christmas crafting in August. And get paid for it!
