I’ve been missing in action from my blog for a week. But don’t worry, that’s because I’ve been super busy crafting up some lovely treats that will be shared very soon.
You’ll be seeing a lot more of me in the coming weeks – or at least you’ll be seeing my crafting hands – as we release the eight Trimcraft video tutorials I have filmed over the last two weeks. Yes eight!
Some of them are Christmas themed so you’ll get to discover more of the amazing Trimcraft papers and embellishments and I’ve also done a couple of other projects to inspire your Autumn crafts.
In addition to these adorable tags, I’ve also made some Christmas decorations in the same way! I think you’ll like them!
All of the Trimcraft videos can be found on the You Tube channel and here’s one that was made recently where I show you how to create a great focal point on your cards using double sided papers.
I love everything about Craftober, not least the name! What an amazing title for a campaign. But that’s just the start! Craftober is set to ‘Inspire More Craft More Save More’ and what more could we want?
Each day throughout October our crafty friends at Create & Craft will be releasing a new tutorial, perfect for Autumnal projects. I am sure there will be some Hallowe’en themed crafting as well as lots of rich colour schemes with rusty oranges, rich burgundies and velvety browns. I love an Autumn colour palette.
My own projects feature the fabulous Dovecraft Bee Happy collection…and I really am happy when I am crafting with this. I think it would be more appropriate to call it Bee Ecstatic!!
(I have been asked a lot about when this range will be available and I can now reveal it will be launching this Sunday evening! Expect a preview post from me before then!!)
In my videos I will show you how to decorate a beautiful heart to hang in your home. It would make fantastic wedding decor too. It’s such a simple make yet it looks adorable! I hope they edit all my “erms” and “aahhs” out! It was surprisingly difficult to do a piece to camera on my own without a presenter by my side! Apparently a lot of guest demonstrators, most far more experienced than me, also find it difficult to present alone. Without a presenter as a safety net, I felt the pressure was wholly on me. I’m not sure I even want to watch the finished videos! Cringe!
In the second tutorial I made a card with a necklace. There are some amazing little bee charms in the Bee Happy collection and they’re great for making jewellery. Of course I will share the videos on my Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages when they are released so please give me a follow to make sure you catch them.
