It’s time for part two of the three-part-preview to the upcoming Create & Craft show on 9 January.
Following the first post which focused on the fabulous First Edition Wanderlust paper pad, this post will contain loads of inspiration for projects made using the First Edition Beyond the Shore paper pad.
As I explained in my earlier post with the Triangle Front Fold Pocket Card tutorial, some of the papers in this pad are almost too delightful to use!
When I first saw this pad, I couldn’t wait to dive in and create mermazing craft creations with beach, underwater and starry themes. Immediately I started fussy cutting the glitter mermaids, shells and starfish. I die cut dolphins, seahorses, octopi and buckets and spades as well as apertures, bunting and alphabets, I stamped and heat embossed sentiments onto the patterned papers and started to create cards with mats and layers from the gorgeous aqua and purple patterned papers.
This paper pad goes so well with other items in my craft stash too! I combined it with my Dovecraft wooden alphabet stamps, alphabet dies, gems and pearls, my Dovecraft sentiment stamps (in particular ‘Friends are like stars, you can’t always see them but they are always there’) and so many of my dies.
The themes in the pad also make it great for quirky sentiments such as ‘Vitamin Sea’, Mermaising, ‘You’re Fintastic’, ‘Let’s Shellebrate’ and ‘You Octopi My Thoughts’. Cards made with these amazing papers are sure to be treasured and will stand out from any others received.
I am really looking forward to demonstrating with these papers on Create & Craft on Tuesday and hope you can join me to share the excitement.
If you have never seen Create & Craft TV before, let me tell you it’s the best of both worlds! Essentially you get to see the latest craft items available, purchase them at a great price and there are even live demonstrations using the products which is just the icing on the cake!
You can watch Create & Craft TV on Sky channel 674, Freeview 23, Virgin 748, Freesat 813, as well as Apple TV and Amazon Fire but my favourite way to watch is online via the TV schedule on the web site http://www.createandcraft.tv/TVSchedule. I like to watch back any shows I may have missed, but be warned some items can sell out during the live show so you’ll miss out if you watch online after the event. You still get to watch the inspirational demos though so it’s still worth tuning in!
Don’t forget there’s still the third part of the preview to the show on January 9th to come too, so please watch this space for more details over the weekend.
In the meantime, Happy Crafting!
