It’s difficult to say, but I may have saved the best for last in the third preview to Tuesday’s return to Create & Craft.
This could also be one of my favourite shows with all of the goodies that will be available. I’m still not sure how it’s possible to have brand new craft products at reduced prices, but I won’t be asking any questions; just enjoying the bargains!
Followers of the Trimcraft social media channels may remember that this collection was revealed last year when a competition was launched to name it. Helen Rose came up with ‘Nature’s Grace’ and it fit this collection with its imagery of butterflies, birds, flowers and foliage perfectly.
What instantly stood out for me when seeing this collection for the fist time was the stunning colour scheme. I am uncontrollably drawn to grey and have painted almost every room in my house in one shade of grey or another, always with a feature colour to compliment it. In the case of Nature’s Grace, grey is teamed with purple and mustard to create a papercraft collection unlike any I’ve seen before.
The Trimcraft designers have taken beautiful imagery designed by Stephanie Davies, and turned them into papers and embellishments allowing us to craft to our hearts content making beautiful cards, home decor, scrapbook pages and more.
Some of the papers reminded me of note cards and writing sets. One of my aims this year (remember I don’t make resolutions) is to write more. I made a box to hold cards and envelopes in and made a little note book that would make a lovely gift. I also made a box to hold papers for To Do lists. Another aim this year is to be more organised!
The papers are so stunning, they need few embellishments and all of the designs work really well together. There are images that can be fussy cut and the papers can be die cut and stamped on. And when it comes to embellishments, there are pearls, accordion stickers, paper flowers, wooden frames, mini bows and plastic buttons.
Also on the show will be some Christmas collection deals (is there a better way to get organised for Christmas than starting crafting in January?) but you’ll have to be quick!
Show details will be added here so keep checking back to make sure you get your favourite craft collections : https://www.createandcraft.com/gb/shows/trimcraft-new-collection-2682884?channel=CC
Add a reminder to make sure you don’t miss the show Tuesday at 3pm (watch on Sky channel 674, Freeview 23, Virgin 748, Freesat 813, Apple TV, Amazon Fire and http://www.createandcraft.com) and catch up with previews one and two in my earlier blog posts too.
