This final preview focuses on the brand new Perfect Allusion paper pad from First Edition. At first glance this pad oozes natural, earthy tones. Delving a little deeper reveals geometric prints, beautiful florals, textured designs and pearlescent effects. Any papercraft project would instantly look premium with these finishes.

The back of the pad reveals the artistic processes of the designer Cassie Suche. Her approach to pattern, focusing on repetition and symmetry is clear in the designs. This is the first time Cassie’s designs have been seen in a First Edition pad and they work beautifully on the page, and on a card.

Perfect Allusion from First Edition 3It probably goes without saying – but I’ll say it anyway – this pad is perfect for masculine makes with the deep brown, cream and grey colour tones, but is equally feminine with floral and nature-inspired pages too.

Here is a selection of my samples ahead of the show. Hope you can join me for crafty fun, Tuesday 13 March at 8am (see below for details on how to watch).
